About Us

The Cuthbertson Family
We serve with Baptist World Mission in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa. We started serving in Liberia, West Africa in 1987, and served there until the civil war broke out in 1991. The Lord led us to Côte d'Ivoire, where we have continued serving since 1994. Our ministry focuses on church planting and discipleship. Because the national language is French, we conduct our ministry in French. We are actively involved in teaching children, women, and men, sharing the gospel through personal witnessing, and doing visitation every week. We believe that personal evangelism and regular visitation provide valuable opportunities for people to hear the gospel and come to faith in Christ. The Lord has also blessed us with twelve wonderful children, all of whom are/were homeschooled. Most have now graduated from college, and several are married and have been blessed with children of their own. We are grateful for God's faithfulness to our family and ministry through the years, and we look forward to continuing to serve Him as He builds His church in West Africa.
